Trump’s cellphone company included the ‘Gulf of Mexico’ on its coverage map

U.S. President Donald Trump refuses to accept anyone calling the Gulf of Mexico by its traditional name. In his efforts to erase history, Trump signed an executive order to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. The Associated Press was banned from the Oval Office and the White House for sticking to the original name, a kind of warning shot that fits with Trump’s increasingly authoritarian style. But now it’s been his own mobile phone services company that has called the Gulf of Mexico by its actual name.
