Tech giants revive nuclear power plants to meet the needs of their data centers

The tech giants’ approach to nuclear energy is evolving. Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and Alphabet have all entered into projects to use this form of energy to increase the supply of data centers, which have enormous growth forecasts for the coming years as a result of the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI), thanks to tools like ChatGPT, which already has hundreds of millions of users. And OpenAI’s flagship app won’t be the only one that will boost data center use.
